Building Strong Community Relationships

Many businesses join the Chamber in order to promote a strong community relationship. The Chamber receives many inquiries from local residents and community groups asking for local businesses to support their cause. You can see the Announcements section below where we have highlighted these requests. Take a moment and see if any of the requests below are a good fit for your business.

Summer is wrapping up and if you missed our summer Coffee with the President meetings, your next chance to connect with members is next week, September 6. Coffee starts at 8am at the Chamber office. This meeting is an informal way to connect with members in a casual environment.

Looking ahead to September, we will once again meet on the Golf course on the 12th to see who can take home the Chamber Golf trophy. There is still time to get in on the action and sign up to golf with your favorite Chamber. Did I mention Richfield Bloomington Mitsubishi is giving away a car! We are also still accepting raffle prizes. So if you are unable to attend, but still want your company in front of Chamber Members, consider sponsoring a hole or donating a prize for to get people in your doors.

Community –
A few Richfield Graduates from the 70’s are hosting a benefit for our friend, Wade Whipps, who is suffering from inoperable stage 4 colon cancer. We are trying to raise money for his medical needs. We will be hosting a benefit at the new Amphitheater in Richfield on September 9 & 16. Many bands will be playing and we would love if Richfield businesses would contribute something to our silent auction. Please contact Julie Howard at simsduluth@aol.com to donate. Thank you!
