Community Connections: Anne Schultz

It’s official! Your Chamber Board of Directors is excited to announce that our interim President, Anne Schultz, will be dropping the word “interim” from her title! For the past 7 months she has been working diligently to set new goals for the Chamber and plan programming for the 2017 calendar year.

Anne will be updating the Membership on Chamber goals in Tuesday’s Weekly Update email. Make sure you are on the Chamber email list and subscribe here. In the meantime, let’s get to know her a little!

Anne grew up in the Twin Cities and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. She entered the workforce with the entrepreneurial spirit and has 15 years of experience as a small business owner. During that time, she joined the Richfield Chamber of Commerce, due to great success with our Women’s Networking Group, and served on the Board of Directors for 6 years. It is with that perspective that she develops new ideas and strategies for making sure the Chamber continues to work for all its members.

When she’s not working at the Chamber, Anne loves spending time with her husband, three children and their adorable dog Rocky (who even has his own Instagram account)! In the summer you can find her working in the family garden and hanging out with friends. Anne also loves skiing with her girls, watching her son play hockey and spending time Up North with her husband.  In addition to her role with the Chamber, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mohamed Fofana Memorial Foundation which is currently raising funds to build a school for children in Guinea, Africa. She is excited to lead the Chamber and looks forward to meeting all of its members along the way!
