Chamber Exec Selected for Prestigious Program

LeadershipMNRCOC President Angie Schaefbauer has been accepted into the MN Chamber’s Leadership Minnesota Program for 2014-2015. This is an elite honor granted to one MN Chamber Exec per year; there are 34 other classmates from all facets of business across MN!!! This is a tremendous professional opportunity for Angie AND an exceptional opportunity to increase Richfield’s visibility in the state. Your help is needed to support this opportunity.

Participation in this program would be in direct support of the RCOC’s strategic plan goals 1 and 3:

  • Goal 1: Grow the influence and reputation of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce AND
  • Goal 3: Demonstrate bold leadership to the Richfield business community

Angie plans to summarize each session and include information about how her learnings apply to the Richfield community. The summaries will be shared with local news media and RCOC membership via email, blog and print newsletter; this will be yet another way the RCOC is bringing Richfield to the world.

The tuition plus expenses equate to $3000 which is due by June 27 – and unfortunately a scholarship was not received. This is an unbudgeted expense and the plan is to solicit sponsorships from Chamber members. If the tuition money isn’t raised, Angie will be unable to attend and her spot will be made available to another applicant.

Sponsorships will include a customized benefits package which can include: web advertising (2200 visits per month and growing), email advertising (2200+ opens = 25% open rate / 15% click-thru rate) and print advertising in the newsletter. In addition, event sponsorship could be included as well.

If you agree that this is a HUGE opportunity for Richfield and would like to support the Chamber’s participation in the program, and are willing to offer your support in the form of a sponsorship contact us today.
