Minnesota Magicians

Tell me a little about you: where are you from? Family?
The Minnesota Magicians are a small, locally owned hockey team that operates out of Richfield Ice Arena. Playing in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), the team features elite prospects/players aged 16-20 from all over the country and the world. Currently, the roster features players who come from as close as Twin Cities suburbs to as far away as Germany. The front office and business staff of the team consists mostly of people raised locally (one who is actually from Richfield), who each share the goal of advancing the athletes as hockey players and young men.

Please describe what company you are with, your job title, and what you do for this company.
The Magicians are a Junior Hockey organization, meaning that its primary goal is the advancement of our players to a higher level of the game whether it be collegiately or professionally. We also are striving to become a source of community and civic pride in Richfield. We feel that our affordable, family-friendly brand of entertainment has the potential to become a staple in the city and a favorite among its residents.

What inspired you to join the Chamber?
We joined the Chamber because we wanted to connect with businesses in the local area. We have existed for about two years now, and we have formed some great partnerships with local businesses and hope to continue to do so for a long time.

What do you do when you are not at
work?
Magicians staff members are a family-oriented group of people. When we are not at an ice arena, we are likely at our homes enjoying the company of friends and family.
