1200 East 78th Street
Richfield, MN 55423
The Americinn in Richfield is popular with families, tourists and business travelers. They are an affordable and amenity rich hotel that is close to the Mall of America, MSP airport and offers easy access to the main freeways in the Minneapolis metro.
When you first walk in to the Americinn you are welcomed into a spacious and inviting lobby with a fireplace and comfortable seating on one side and a kitchen on the other (for complimentary breakfast). At the desk, the staff was friendly and efficient.
Walking down the clean and well-lit hallway, I entered a standard room. The Americinn has choices of a single king, single queen, two queens or king 1 and 2 room suites (some with a Jacuzzi tub). The first thing I noticed in the standard 2 queen room was how large it was. Plenty of room for a family. The other thing I notice was the décor was bright, comfortable and looks like it was recently updated. The room has all the things a traveler expects, lots of pillow choices, a large flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and a small table/desk. The second thing I noticed was how nice the bathroom was. The bathroom was very recently renovated and looked very nice and even had a rain style shower head.
The Americinn in Richfield has a swimming pool and hot tub that is very family friendly. It is located in an area of the hotel where it does not cause a noise problem for guests.
The Americinn is located at 12th Ave and 494 right on the Richfield and Bloomington border. It is less than 1-1/2 miles to the Mall of America and 5 minutes away from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport. It is only 10 miles to Target Field and Downtown Minneapolis.
The Americinn Bloomington East is centrally located, affordable, modern and clean. Whether you’re passing through or staying for a while, the Americinn is a great hotel choice.
