Richfield Review: Best Buy

Best Buy is a leading provider of technology products, and is a go to stop for many Richfield residents in need of new tech products and tech support. I stopped in to Best Buy just as it opened on Monday morning and, as usual, was greeted by a friendly associate as I walked in the door. Best Buy stores are huge, with aisle after aisle of the newest technology products in every category from TV’s to cell phones. More impressive to me than their size and vast array of products, is their customer service. I was in the market for a new laptop computer, and was directed to the laptop department and introduced to an associate who had an impressive knowledge of all my options. He quickly helped me determine the right machine for my needs, with enough RAM to work fast on my design projects, but with no extra frill that I didn’t need to pay for. Best Buy continues to be my first stop when I need to discuss my options with an expert who can help me make an informed decision about my big tech purchases!

Best Buy is Minnesota Nice

Best Buy is a Minnesota based company, and it seems like that “Minnesota Nice” mentality is extended to their in stores. The stores are always bursting with employees walking around, looking for someone to help. For this reason, Best Buy is a great place to go if you have questions and need a little bit of guidance when it comes to big tech purchases. Best Buy also offers expert service through their Geek Squad Agents, so bring in your computer that’s been acting up and they’ll help you get to the root of the problem!

Best Buy stores are now everywhere in the US, Canada and Mexico, so you should never be too far away from that expert tech support. Even if you are out of driving range, the Best Buy website is as comprehensive and user friendly as you would expect from a big, successful company of this caliber. Another great feature of Best Buy is their recycling program, which collects 409 pounds of electronics each minute the store is open! This is an important service as many of us purchase a new cell phone, laptop or TV as often as once a year and might not know how to properly dispose of them without harming the environment.
