City Nails Richfield

Walk-Ins Welcome

I stopped in to the City Nails in the HUB shopping center in Richfield over my lunch break on a Wednesday. Despite the busy noon hour, and the fact that I had not made an appointment, I was quickly ushered to a chair and told to choose a nail polish of my choice. City Nails carries mostly OPI nail polish, a relatively high quality nail polish, especially for a small local nail salon. The nail technicians at City Nails are fast and efficient, and are obviously very conscious of your busy schedule. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, though I could have sit with my nails drying under the UV lights for longer.

Fast, Efficient Service

My nail technician made some light suggestions for add-ons like no-chip polish and eyebrow waxing, but didn’t push me too hard. When I made it clear that I was only interested in a basic manicure, she set to work cleaning up my cuticles and buffing my nails. After two coats of the nail polish and a clear topcoat, my nail technician helped me carry my purse and coat to the nail drying UV lights.

I sat next to a friendly woman who told me she is a regular at City Nails. I had a feeling she wasn’t the only regular customer in the salon at that moment. All told, my basic manicure cost me less than $20 including tip, a reasonable mid-range price for a manicure in my opinion. If you’re in a hurry and need a quick nail cleanup, City Nails is a great option.
