Summer is here and there’s no better place to enjoy it than Veteran’s Memorial Park in Richfield! Take advantage of the outdoor picnic pavilion, the outdoor pool, and the Adventure Gardens Mini-Golf & Malt Shop! The Mini-Golf & Malt Shop offers ice cream, bike rentals, tasty grilled cheese sandwiches and an 18 hold mini-golf course. In addition, 4-wheel Surrey bikes are available to rent and take for a cruise through the park. Also available for rent during the summer months, the picnic shelter is a great place for a graduation party or family get together.
Paved paths wind through marshland in the park where you’re sure to spot some wildlife! Bike, run or just take a stroll on these well-maintained paths dotted with benches where you can rest and enjoy the natural surroundings. Nestled in the Southwest corner of the park, the Richfield Public Pool is a favorite summer spot for adults and kids alike. The Richfield Outdoor Pool features a zero-depth-entry children’s wading pool area with water play equipment, a 50-meter main pool with wheelchair access ramp, double waterslide, one-meter diving board, water volleyball and two 25-yard lap lanes. The concession stand has a wide variety of food and beverages and features a sit-down area with umbrella-covered tables.
Richfield’s largest playground lives in Veteran’s Memorial Park and is a local favorite. At this playground, kids love the swings, jungle gym, slide and zip line!
