(Richfield, MN) – Colleen Nagel, Chair of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, today announced that Anne Schultz will be assuming the role of Interim President beginning January 1, 2017.
“We are very excited that Anne has accepted the important role of Interim President,” said Nagel. “She comes to the Chamber with a wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm that will benefit members and the organization.”
Schultz has more than 5 years of experience with the Chamber, including serving as Board Chair in 2015. She also was recently the recipient of the prestigious Larry Farrington Award, which she received at this year’s Chamber holiday party. Anne also was inducted into the Chamber’s Small Business Hall of Fame in 2013 for her work with Linden Hills Florist. She became initially involved in the Chamber through the Richfield Professional Women’s group.
“I appreciate the opportunity to continue my involvement and service to the Richfield Chamber of Commerce,” said Schultz. “I’m honored to accept this position and continue to promote the business community in the long tradition of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce.”
Amongst her first orders of business, Ms. Schultz would like to promote outreach to Milennials and the adoption of the concept of equity coaching, which addresses cultural diversity in business. She believes that the Richfield Chamber and community as a whole would benefit from these programs.
