Welcome to the weekly update! Did you know that Richfield was voted best suburb for the second year in a row by the City Pages? Well that comes as no surprise to the Richfield Chamber community who have been calling Richfield home for the last 50+ years. What is it that is so appealing about our Urban Hometown? Location, Location, Location! Ask any of our local realtors and they will confirm that we have the hottest market in town. Do you want to own a home in Richfield? Better act fast because homes don’t last long, and we are one of the most affordable markets for a tier-1 suburb. What else does Richfield have to offer? Well we are just wrapping up the end of major road construction so access around town is becoming incredibly efficient. We are also home to great businesses like Pizza Luce, AWorld of Fish and Therapy of Champions (yea, cryotherapy is the hottest fitness recovery trend out there- and we have it)!
We’ve also got an extensive network of healthcare options from Chiropractic to Dentistry to Podiatry. Want to meet more of your local business owners, stop by Penn Fest on September 16 and walk the Avenue. Business owners will be set-up along Penn inviting you to get to know them and their businesses and how they support our community. You name it, Richfield has it. And we’ve got it all within a 5 minute commute to downtown, the Mall of America and the airport; What’s not convenient about that!?!
Our City Council is actively involved in making sure that Richfield is a place where everyone is welcome and the Chamber is attracting economic development that fits within our City’s Comprehensive Plan. We’ve got a school community to brag about and a business community that invests back into our local resources. Do you know about the Richfield Foundation and the annual grants it gives out every year? Their wine gala is coming up in October and all the proceeds raised go right back into our community. As an ongoing effort to make sure all our residents are represented and have a voice, Richfield is launching a Complete Count Committee. The kick-off meeting will be Thursday, September 13 from 6:30-8:00pm at the Community Center (7000 Nicollet Avenue). All residents and business owners are welcome to participate. Visit the Chamber calendar to find out more on how you can get involved.
Is there a topic you are interested in? Chances are there is a program within our community working on it. Check-in with the Chamber and we will help connect you to the resources you need. The Richfield Chamber’s mission is to connect businesses for a prosperous community. If you are interested in being a part of that, reach out and get involved today, we’d love to have you!
