Welcome again to Community Connections where each week we like to highlight a member of our Chamber! This week it is my pleasure to introduce you to Sue Durfee with Remax Results. Sue has been a nominated Super Agent by Mpls St. Paul Magazine 4 years in a row! She has been representing buyers and sellers in the Twin Cities residential real estate market for 14 years. In 2016, the median sale price for a Richfield home increased from $205,000 in January to $221,000 by the end of December. Right now we are in a seller’s market so it is a great time to think about a change and Sue can help you navigate the home buying process.
One thing we all know, is that houses with updated kitchens and bathrooms get buyers’ attentions, but Sue also says that a well-maintained home is just as valuable. (I bet we have a number of Chamber members who can help you maintain your property before you list it with Sue!) Many of her clients use the local schools and businesses as their main reason for buying in a city. That’s just one of many reasons why it is so important to invest our time in our communities. The stronger the schools and business community, the stronger the overall health of the city.
For Sue, being a Realtor is more about customer service than it is a sales job. One time she even moved out of her own house for 18 days so her client would have a place to live between closings! She loves what she does and she works very hard for every client. When you see this Super Agent at the next meeting, make sure and say hello, you’ll be glad you did!
