At the next Chamber meeting on August 11th, members will get an exclusive opportunity to tour the new emergency center at Fairview Southdale Hospital. The new facility is named after founder and administrator Carl N. Platou to honor his nearly 40-year legacy of leading growth and innovation for Fairview Southdale. As one of Minnesota’s Level III Trauma Centers, the expansion will be four times larger than the current ER. It was designed to increase speed in the delivery of care and response time and capacity in the event of a large-scale public emergency or disaster.
Chamber members will be led on a personalized tour of this state-of-the-art facility by Brad Beard, Richfield Chamber Chair-Elect and Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Fairview Southdale. The tour is from 7:30-8:30 AM and includes a complimentary breakfast and parking validation for the east ramp. The cost is $25 for members/$35 for non-members. Register online or contact Lori Nelson at 612-866-5100.
