Kate Meredith

Director of Outreach for Commuter Services

Tell me a little about you: where are you from?
I was born and raised in Minneapolis. I have lived on both coasts but have made the Twin Cities home since after college. I now live with my family in Edina.

Please describe what company you are with, your
job title, and what you do for this company.
I am Director of Outreach for Commuter Services. I help fulfill the organization’s mission of reducing traffic congestion and its resulting air pollution. We provide free resources and programs that encourage people to use smart commute options like carpooling, bicycling, using transit and telecommuting. I have met so many people over the years who have made a simple pledge to drive alone less often. That one-time pledge becomes the way to get to work for many. Ditching the drive alone commute for a more sustainable way benefits individuals, employers and the entire community. I love being part of the solution!

What inspired you to join the Chamber?
Joining the Richfield Chamber just made sense. Through events and numerous opportunities the Chamber is a great way to get connected to companies and organizations in Richfield.

What do you do when you are not at
I spend much of my non-work time with family and friends. I love movies, museums, live theater and getting out in nature.
