Everyone was all smiles as we officially welcomed Richfield Bloomington Mitsubishi back home to Richfield! Pictured cutting the ribbon are Mayor Debbie Goettel and Jeff Wood – President, Tom Wood Automotive. Also pictured are Tim Carter – RB Honda, Gayu Uesugi – Chairman of Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. and Brent Wade, RB Mitsubishi General Manager and Edwina Garcia, Richfield City Council member. Also on hand were many, many community members, Richfield Chamber Board Members, family and friends.
The investment that Tom Wood Management has demonstrated with the demolition and expansion of the Mitsubishi dealership and the upcoming redesign and expansion of the Honda dealership in Richfield is a tremendous example of the business vitality in the area. These dealerships are setting a great example to other area businesses in their commitment to community reinvestment and we sincerely hope that their example will lead other businesses investing in Richfield as well.
Having these beautiful new dealerships in this area will lead to new traffic and ultimately positively affect neighboring businesses – because as we all know, increased traffic helps improve business activity and bottom lines.
The RCOC again thanks RB Mitsubishi, Honda and Tom Wood Automotive group for supporting the Richfield community and we look forward to watching their innovative, sustainable and environmentally sensitive automotive campuses evolve while bringing more jobs to Richfield and transforming the area.
