This has been a whirlwind week with Chamber activities! Last week we held our Monthly Member Meeting and heard an update on 66th Street from Transportation Engineer Jack Broz. If you want current information, please check out the website here. Superintendent Unowski presented on the amazing work of our Richfield Public Schools.
Did you know that Park Nicollet operates a clinic in partnership with the Richfield schools that provides free health care to our student residents from birth to 21 years of age? Did you also know that under the leadership of Principle Daniels, our graduation rates are increasing, especially among our students of color? We also learned that Richfield is home to six public schools in addition to Seven Hills Preparatory Academy. Seven Hills Preparatory Academy is an award winning, tuition free, public charter school (with bus transit options) located right here in our community. The Chamber will be exploring a greater relationship between our students and business community over the course of the next year. Contact me if you would like an opportunity to be a part of that conversation!
Vinocopia hosted our monthly happy hour and their wine tasting room is amazing! My favorite wine from the evening was the Piattelli Rosé! Stop in to one of our municipal liquor stores and pick up a bottle today! Look for more information on the December Holiday Party to be hosted there for your next opportunity to experience their space.
Over the summer, the Chamber will be developing partnerships with MN Job Match as well as strengthening our partnerships with local Richfield Organizations. If you would like to be a part of the conversation, email me today for more information.
