Welcome to the Richfield Chamber update! Can you believe it is already October? Coming up next week, we invite you to attend two important member meetings. The first meeting is with Maria Regan Gonzalez who is running for Richfield Mayor. It is important to meet with your elected officials because they are the people who will advocate for you on current business ordinances. Ms. Regan Gonzalez currently serves on the City Council and will be on the ballot as the Mayoral candidate in November. Please mark your calendar for October 10 at 8am and join us at Local Roots.
As part of the Chamber initiative to keep current in today’s business climate, we have partnered with Google and will be hosting a General Member Meeting on October 11 over the lunch hour to teach you how to share your story through video. Today’s consumers are connected via their smart phones and streaming data at an unprecedented rate. The successful business is the one that can capture attention and the current marketing data shows video is the way to do it. Join your business community in learning best practice on your video marketing campaign- it’s easier than you think!
In October, the Chamber will be accepting nominations for candidates to serve on the Board of Directors starting in 2019. If you are a great business leader, or know a great business leader in our community let us know. Nominations for Board Positions will be open through the end of October. You can email your requests to our Chamber President, Anne Schultz at firstname.lastname@example.org,
