My Burger is a recent addition to Richfield. Conveniently located at 66th Street and Lyndale Avenue, it shares a building with a couple other businesses that are not yet open. Which did not stop the crowds from showing up. I went for lunch the week after they opened and the line was nearly out the door. To my pleasant surprise the line moved very quickly. While standing in line I was able to scan the restaurant and take in the décor. It is very modern, fun and clean. I loved the use of color and the furniture was very cool.
My Burger is set up so that you place an order first, get a number, and then seat yourself. After placing an order for the Bacon Bleu Cheese Burger I took my number and sat outside on the patio where it was less crowded. Because of how busy the restaurant was I was expecting my order to take a little longer then I would usually expect, but that was not the case! I had my burger and fries in less than 10 minutes. And boy, were they delicious. The burger was extremely juicy but the bun was not soggy. The bacon was perfectly crispy and the half-melted bleu cheese was to die for. The fries were some of the best I have had. Perfectly cooked and salted, if they were frozen instead of fresh, I couldn’t tell.
If burgers are not your thing you will be happy to know they offer other food items as well: veggie burgers, fish burgers, turkey burgers and even chicken burgers. They have a variety of draft and bottled beers available as well as malts and shakes. If you’re feeling extra fancy you can even order a glass of wine to go with your meal.
All-in-all My Burger is a great addition to Richfield and based on the crowds I continue to see coming out the door I think others might just agree with me. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet I highly encourage you to do so and see for yourself just how great their burgers are.
