Arc’s Value Village is a great thrift store located right here in Richfield. Their goal is to provide customers a great shopping experience while also giving back to the community. Arc’s has been in business for over 30 years and has five locations throughout the Twin Cities. They are a non-profit organization that aims to help make life better for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores provides over a million dollars a year to The Arc Greater Twin Cities.
The store itself is wonderful. It is clean, organized, and the staff members are all friendly, helpful, and happy. They rotate stock often so you are able to find new items every time you enter the store. The store is filled with a wide variety of items, such as:
- And more!
Each day of the week Arc’s Value Village has a different 50% off sale based on the color of the price tag. I went in on yellow tag sale day, meaning that all items with a yellow tag were an additional 50% off! Every Sunday they also feature a special $1.29 sale on clothing and a $0.99 sale on housewares and other non-clothing items. I was able to easily find clothing in my size because of how neatly the racks were organized. They had tons of quality, name brand clothing items. I could have spent hours just going through the racks, but I might have had to go grab another cart!
If you are looking to donate it couldn’t be easier. You can drive up and drop off items like clothing, housewares, collectibles and more 7 days a week. They write you up a tax receipt on the spot and off you go.
Fun Arc’s Value Village Fact
Something I learned about Arc’s Value Village is that they have a personal shopping and styling service. They work with wardrobe stylists and thrift store experts to offer a free personal shopping experience. You can even book the appointment online.
