7533 Lyndale Ave S
Richfield, MN 55423
We stopped at DQ Grill and Chill on 76th Street and Lyndale Avenue on a sunny, cool Monday afternoon. Surprisingly, we didn’t have to wait in line at all to place our orders. Service was quick and friendly and we were seated with our lunches within a few minutes. As most everyone in Minnesota knows, Dairy Queen is a corporate chain restaurant serving up old favorites like Blizzards, Peanut Buster Parfaits, and chocolate-dipped ice cream cones. Chances are, you’ve tried and enjoyed one of these frozen treats a few times in your life. But did you also know that you can get lunch for $5 at Dairy Queen? Choose from the Crispy Chicken Wraps Lunch, the 3-Piece Chicken Strip Lunch, and the Deluxe Cheeseburger Lunch, all at just $5!
Ample Seating Inside and Out
Today’s lunch was no exception to DQ’s usual tasty offering. Some of us ordered hot dogs, some ordered chicken strips with fries, and some skipped ahead to dessert. We all agreed, lunch was as delicious as it was inexpensive. The service was excellent, with two people expertly working the lunch rush. The restaurant itself had ample seating inside and out, and was impressively clean. If the weather would have been just a few degrees warmer, we would have enjoyed the outdoor seating and people watching on busy Lyndale Avenue. This DQ location has been recently renovated, and the updates to the interior just add to the great experience.
Great Dessert Menu With All Your Childhood Favorites
As the weather warms up, don’t miss out on trying the new “Royal” Blizzards with different toppings in their core. The Royal Oreo Blizzard is particularly good! Overall, DQ Grill and Chill is a great spot to grab a quick lunch on your lunch break, or take the whole family without breaking the bank. Try an old favorite from your childhood, or opt for a new item on the menu, either way you’re sure to walk away satisfied.
